Introduction

Going out for dinner and a show has been one of the casualties during the time of Covid-19. Before quarantine, working from home, and social distancing, many people enjoyed an evening at a favorite restaurant or club, often with friends or family.

One of the most famous clubs in the country a few decades ago was the Beverly Hills Supper Club located less than 2.5 miles outside Cincinnati, just across the Ohio river on US 27 in Southgate, Campbell County, Kentucky, a town of 3,400 residents. The club was set upon a hill overlooking the Alexandria Pike, and was hard to miss. The rambling, irregularly shaped 54,000 square foot building covered 1.5 acres, was composed of 19 separate spaces on two floors plus a basement. Out back was a garden with a fountain and a wedding chapel.
